A Thank You With Sunflowers

For the followers and bloggers who have been so generous with their Visits, Likes and Comments, I’m sending some sunshine your way. Just a few photos I shot on a September Day here in South County. Thanks to all. You are truly appreciated.

  1. I love sunflowers, and planted some seeds in my garden. But when I looked sunflowers up in my gardening book, it said they were “gross feeders”! I wondered if I should buy them some little bibs so their eating habits didn’t make them look too messy.

      1. Oh sweet Clare – nothing to forgive! The flowers were a beautiful reminder of sunshine, of joy, of life which is what we have and what we must relish, protect and cherish. Nine years on and the scars have reshaped us and turned us into better versions of what we were – no sad endings just gratitude for the lovely people we find along the way šŸ™‚

      2. Osyth, ZuZu would definitely concur with you, “No sad endings”. Late last night I visited Russia with you and 2Brain (I like him). Such a marvelous trip and an insightful, personal perspective on the people you found along the way. Thank you for a view into a country I hope to visit myself some day with my own dear 2Brain. 3. I’m so glad you enjoyed the Russian odyssey. It was a wonderful experience and we hope to be back again soon. I’m sure you would get along with Two Brains and he with you – he is a scientist who really appreciates creativity and the written word. Get your Two Brained one to take you to Russia – St Petersburg is worth the trip all on its own. I will make time to read more on your blog this weekend. The Bean and I have been our own version of too busy for anything peaceful this week šŸ™‚

      1. I suppose at lest the woodchuck is appreciating them too! I haven’t tried growing them here, but I think the soil wouldn’t be good enough. Perhaps I’ll have to give it a try next year though and see! I hope you’re having a lovely day as well, Clare. šŸ™‚
